See two countries in one city break. Take advantage of the direct and inexpensive rail link across the Oresund that rises 70 metres above the sea and spend 1 night in Sweden's third largest city Malmo and the last 2 nights in wonderful Copenhagen.
This is how it works:
Upon arriving at Copenhagen Airport take the fast rail link (approx 25 minutes, ticket not included) direct to the centre of Malmo, tickets can be purchased at the airport and cost approx £14 return. Then the following day scoot off to Copenhagen and land up at the Hilton Copenhagen Airport where you will be staying for 2 nights.
Wander leisurely through Malmo's cobbled squares and its lively pedestrianised shopping zone. It offers a choice of trendy design clothes and exclusive boutiques stores, a tempting array of restaurants and coffee houses.
Considered Sweden's City of Art, Malmo is dotted with some 30 galleries and 3 art institutions. For the historically inclined a visit to the nearby medieval university town of Lund, the colourful wooden chalet-like homes in the stunning villages of Skanor, Falsterbro and Ljunghusen is a must.
Copenhagen is a vibrant, modern city whose fascinating past and waterside backdrop co-exists with the very latest trends in architecture, design and fashion. It is one of the world's great design capitals and one of the most beautiful cities in northern Europe, a status that is reflected in its dynamic new buildings and stunning shops.
